Description: Oscimin SR is a slow releasing tablet used by adults and children 12 years and older to treat fever, nausea and vomiting caused by gastrointestinal disorders such as mild dysenteries and diverticulitis. It relieves a runny nose caused by nasal congestion and is also used with pain medication to relieve pain caused by gallstones and kidney stones. Oscimin SR works by decreasing the production of acid in the stomach, slowing down the natural movements of the gut, and relaxing muscles in many organs such as the stomach, intestines, bladder, kidney and gallbladder.

Indications: Oscimin SR is used to reduce the symptoms of nasal congestion, mild dysenteries and diverticulitis. It may also be used with pain medication to reduce the symptoms of gallstones and kidney stones. Hyoscyamine is the generic version of Oscimin SR.
