This medicine may cause the following problems:Increased pressure in the eyeIncreased risk of seizures or worsening of mental problemsIncreased pupil size and blurred visionProblems with urination This medicine may cause hyperthermia (high body temperature) within 72 hours after application, which can be life-threatening and requires immediate medical attention. Remove the patch and call your doctor right away if your body temperature increases and you are not sweating in a warm environment. Do not use external heat sources (including heated blanket) while wearing the patch. This medicine may cause seizures in pregnant women with severe preeclampsia (pregnancy with high blood pressure and high protein levels in the urine or organ problems). Tell any doctor or dentist who treats you that you are using this medicine. This medicine may affect certain medical test results. The patch contains aluminum, which can cause skin burns during an MRI scan. Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone. This medicine may make you dizzy, drowsy, or confused. Do not drive or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how this medicine affects you. If you plan to participate in underwater sports, you may feel lost or confused (disoriented).

Tell your doctor if you are using a muscle relaxant, medicine to treat depression (including TCAs), or any other oral medicine., Do not drink alcohol while you are using this medicine., Tell your doctor if you use anything else that makes you sleepy. Some examples are allergy medicine, narcotic pain medicine, and alcohol., This medicine may make you sweat less and cause your body to get too hot. Be careful in hot weather, when you are exercising, or if using a sauna or whirlpool., Tell any doctor or dentist who treats you that you are using this medicine. This medicine may affect certain medical test results., Skin burns have been reported at the patch site in several patients wearing an aluminized transdermal system during a magnetic resonance imaging scan (MRI). Because Transderm Scōp® contains aluminum, it is recommended to remove the system before undergoing an MRI.
